Refund & Cancellation Policy

Medical Speech-language Pathology Council of California is committed to providing exceptional service in a timely manner. Unfortunately, when a member cancels their registration without giving enough notice, it prevents another member from attending a course and costs the organization fees that are not refundable (catering costs for breakfast & lunch) for in person sessions or require to pay additional fees to accommodate a higher number of attendees that attended a webinar. No shows and late cancellation have a negative impact on the organization planning and expenditures.  For these reasons, Medical Speech-language Pathology Council of California has implemented a cancellation/refund policy that will be strictly observed.

MEMBERSHIP FEES & FULL PAYMENT OF FEES 
Your registration/membership fee is complete when we receive your full payment. Payments are due and payable online. We do not allow attendance to courses without payment.  Nonattendance to courses for the calendar year will not result in a refund of your membership fee. Additional fees will be charged for courses over 3 hours in length.  Courses 3 hours and under are included in your membership fee whether they are in person or online.  An online confirmation email will be sent to you at the time of membership sign up or renewal, course registration and payment. The email serves as confirmation of your registration.
 
REFUND/CANCELLATION REQUEST 
Refund/Cancellation requests may be submitted by email.  Please note that refunds will be processed in the original form of payment. If you have any questions or concerns about our cancellation policy, please contact our Treasurer at Reggie@msccslpceus.org


REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

Refund requests made more than 10 business days prior to course date will be subject to an administration fee of $15 of the registration fee if an additional cost is associated with the course, membership fees will not be refunded if member is not able to attend conferences included with the annual fee.

Refund requests made between 1 to 10 business days prior to any course that requires an additional fee for the course are subject to a $25 administrative fee.  This is to cover the costs associated with the course that have already been acquired based on preregistration. 

No refunds for non-attendance will be issued on the day of, or after, the conference.

If MSCC cancels a course that requires an additional registration fee, all members who have prepaid for the course will be refunded the registration fee in the form of the original payment.
